Prior to traveling to Japan for SCIS&ISIS2022 in Mie prefecture, please review the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website (see Ministry of Foreign Affairs link: https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/short/novisa.html) to clarify your visa requirements.
Visa procedures are usually processed in about two weeks from the date of application.
However, this process will vary depending on the country, region, COVID-19 situation, and other circumstances.
If required, therefore please be sure to apply for a visa that provides a sufficient time frame for your participation (a few months are needed in general).

- Filled VISA Questionnaire form(s) (Download HERE)
- Certificate of employment or enrollment (electronic copy)
- Travel itinerary/receipt (electronic copy)
- Confirmation of your hotel booking (electronic copy)
Invitation letters should only be issued to Speakers/Presenters and Committee members who have paid the required registration fee in full. When you plan to travel with your family and/or students who do not present any papers, you should apply for visas together.
