Preparation

Authors should prepare papers in IEEE style (see below) including results, figures, and references. Each paper should be chosen one of the paper styles, one of the sessions (General or Organized Sessions), and one of the presentation styles in the submission system:

*Paper style: full paper, or short paper

*Session: general session, or organized session

*Presentation style: oral (available for full papers only), interactive (available for both full and short papers and organized session), or poster (available for short papers and general session)

Papers should be written in A4 paper format with the IEEE style (please see following links). Title, authors' names, and organizations of your paper should be capitalized as IEEE style manual. Only a PDF file will be accepted for the review process. All fonts should be embedded in the PDF file.

Paper style

Full paper

Authors should prepare full papers of four (4) to six (6) pages (maybe extended up to eight (8) pages but subject to an additional fee) in IEEE style including results, figures, and references. All full papers should be submitted online. Full papers will be rigorously and competitively peer reviewed with criteria including fitness/significance, novelty, completeness, consistency, and presentation (language and grammar). All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings and archived in IEEE Xplore subject to all quality requirements of IEEE. Paper awards will be prized to outstanding full papers. In addition, revised and extended versions of selected papers will be invited to post-conference publication such as special issues of quality journals.

Short paper

Authors are invited to prepare short papers of two (2) to four (4) pages in IEEE style including results, figures, and references. All short papers should be submitted online. Short papers will be peer reviewed in a comprehensive manner with criteria including fitness/significance, novelty, completeness, consistency, and presentation (language and grammar). Especially, originality and usefulness are more important compared with the other criteria. All accepted short papers will be published in the conference proceedings and archived in IEEE Xplore subject to all quality requirements of IEEE. Some short papers will be prized.

Presentation style

All accepted papers (full and short) will be invited to the conference presentations. Authors may request their preference from the following:

*Oral presentation (available for full papers only)

*Interactive presentation (available for both full and short papers and organized session)

*Poster presentation (available for short papers and general session)

All authors in an organized session should request the same option in consultation with the organizer(s). While the program committee will try their best to respect all the requests, please be aware that not all can necessarily be accommodated due to various constraints for the conference program development.

Paper Submission Site

PDF Preparation

EDAS paper submission system requires that all fonts must be embedded in the uploaded PDF file. If you use some Windows OS, you may be able to check whether each font is embedded in your PDF by using 'pdffonts' command in the command prompt windows such that pdffonts foo.pdf
If you are also making your manuscript with Microsoft Word, the following may be helpful to generate a PDF file with embedding all fonts: https://standards.ieee.org/develop/embeddedfonts.pdf
If you use LaTeX, you may need to explicitly set the font mapping file "dlbase14.map" when you generate a PDF file from DVI file as follows: dvipdfmx -f dlbase14.map foo.dvi
If you have more trouble with paper submission, please do not hesitate to contact us by email. SCIS&ISIS2020 General Affairs [ scisisis2020+info@gmail.com ]
